WebbIf a dairy farm is miking more than 100 cows and a beef unit has more than 200 livestock units and they produce slurry then the slurry must be applied using precision technology on or after 1 st January 2024. On and after 1 st January 2027 all slurry produced on farm, no matter of type or size, must be applied by precision application methods. It is usually stored in a slurry tank or lagoon before it is applied to farmland as fertiliser.
