They added DX11 as a side branch after some backlash as some users would be locked out of a game they initially could play. WebAll of these games got ported to REVIII's version of the RE engine, which has ray tracing compatibility, but also removes dx11 support. This does not matter for most systems, as dx11 is years and years old at this point, but I think that it's pretty shitty of Capcom to not allow a dx11 legacy branch via steam.
