Onpg extinction coefficient
WebConflicting values for the extinction coefficient of liquid water have been re-ported by Barrett and Mansell (1), Price et al. (2), Golding (3, 4), and Ley and Arends (5). We have redetermined the extinction coefficient of pure liquid water, extending the measurements of Barrett (1900 A to 1850 A) down to 1600 A. Our Webreaction buffer containing ONPG as the substrate. Subsequent data reduction was performed using Gen5 software. In order to determine Michaelis-Menten equation values, a series of dilutions of the ONPG substrate were utilized. A 20 mM stock solution of ONPG substrate in 2X reaction buffer was prepared and dilutions from 0 to 20 mM were made
