WebFeb 16, 2024 · The 17.6 default value is already sitting there when you check the timing at 4000 RPM the first time. The ECU is using 17.6 degrees when you check the timing. If it is off by a couple of degrees, add a couple of degrees to 17.6, and check it again. It'll be obvious which way to go after rechecking.

Quad Cities, IL. I don't know my exact cam specs but it seems to have a good amount of overlap and 9" of vac at 900 rpm idle. Idle quality is relatively decent with my FiTech, but I have a lot of driveability issues under 2000 rpm. Goes lean for a split sec and then the ecu dumps a bunch of fuel and bogs bad.
