Can ecc ram be used in a desktop
WebI have read on the internet that most desktop motherboards say they do not support ecc memory but the cpu specs suppots ecc memory. I am looking to install UNREGISTERED ecc memory into a desktop. would it work? I dont see why it wouldn't, unregistered ecc memory uses the same 240 pinout. Can someone please explain this to me?
