WebFeb 5, 2015 · Waddington Bay on Bonwick Island in the Broughton Archipelago has been one of our favorite anchorages over the years. We first anchored here in 2001 with our sailboat Carina, and have been back several times with Phoenix. It’s a great place for kayaking and we’ve always had good luck catching crabs and prawns in this area. WebThe plan for the next 4 days will be to head northward, towards the mainland. Your route will depend on the weather but you will likely head through Blackney Passage, into Blackfish Sound, past Swanson Island, through the islets surrounding Bonwick Island, and possibly up as far as Insect Island and the Burdwood Group!
